TST Waterjet Hose Protection

A critical risk for waterjet operators arises in the event of hose end or hose coupling failure. Due to the hose typically being in close proximity to the operators body and neck, the wearing of protective apparel alone may not always be sufficient. To help maximise the safety of the operator it is strongly recommended that a rated protective hose shroud is used on the gun end of the hose and in areas of close proximity to the operator. TST protective hose shrouds are made from a special fabric containing the world's strongest fiber - Dyneema® (15 times stronger than steel!) and are tested to 3,000 bar (43,500 PSI). They are available in a range of sizes from 36mm diameter up to 59mm diameter to accommodate a range of hose sizes. Maintenance: Clean with TST Special Grease Remover
