Steel Grit Cast steel grit abrasive media is a high performance cleaning and descaling abrasive media. Used prominently in airless wheel blast machines or air blast rooms. Steel grit has a sharp edge that will gradually round over as the abrasive is recycled. GL Steel Grit hardness is 54 - 61 Hardness Rockwell C. Other grades & hardness steel grit is available for specific abrasive blasting or shot blasting applications. Available Grades of Steel Grit:- GL80 Steel Grit 0.0072" - 0.0168" (0.18 - 0.42mm)
- GL50 Steel Grit 0.012" - 0.0284" (0.3 - 0.71mm)
- GL40 Steel Grit 0.0168" - 0.04" (0.42 - 1.0mm)
- GL25 Steel Grit 0.028" - 0.048" (0.7 - 1.2mm)
- GL18 Steel Grit 0.04" - 0.056" (1.0 - 1.4mm)
