The DeFelsko® PosiTector® 200 Ultrasonic Coating Thickness Gauge (SKU: P-IND200) is engineered to deliver accurate, non-destructive coating thickness measurements on non-metallic substrates like wood, plastic, and concrete. Designed on the durable PosiTector® platform, this gauge supports interchangeable probes, enabling flexibility across a variety of applications. Built to meet ASTM D6132 and ISO 2808 standards, it’s an essential tool for professional quality control.
Featuring a large 2.8″ impact-resistant color touchscreen, the PosiTector 200 offers enhanced usability with simple menu navigation, on-gage help, and a durable, ergonomic design with a rubberized grip for comfortable handling in diverse environments. The device is weatherproof, dustproof, and water-resistant (IP65-rated), ensuring reliable performance in tough conditions.
This model supports three probe options to measure coatings of different thicknesses:
- PRB200B: For polymer coatings on materials like wood and plastic, up to 40 mils
- PRB200C: For coatings on concrete and fiberglass, ranging from 2-150 mils
- PRB200D: For thick/soft coatings, such as polyurea, from 2-300 mils
The PosiTector 200 also offers advanced connectivity options—USB, WiFi, and Bluetooth—for easy data synchronization with PosiSoft software on PC, Mac, and smartphones. The advanced model stores up to 250,000 readings in 1,000 batches, includes a graphics mode for in-depth analysis, and supports SSPC-PA 9 compliance, making it a high-capability choice for coating inspections.
