How to install construction and scaffold shrink wrap To install BlastOne shrink wrap (flame retardant or standard) Environmental Containment;

Cover the desired containment site/object/area with the required industrial shrink wrap – whether flame retardant or standard – then seal the seams with special shrink joining tape.
Once the shrink wrap is in place, apply using the gas fired heat gun, use high temperature.
The application of the hot air joins and bonds the sheets of Thermo poly film shrink wrap containment together, forming an impermeable covering/film over or around the desired site framework or scaffold.
The BlastOne scaffold containment shrink wrap film or sheeting is shrunk by up to 20-40% to form a robust, weathertight and moisture resistant covering which will contain nearly all debris whether it be from grinding, painting, blasting, sandblaster, spray-painting, lead abatement or asbestos residuals, airborne dust and other site debris and dust.

NOTE: please use the correctly specified product for Environmental Containment, to avoid containment failure, water ingress, dust escapage, loss of fugitive particles, property damage or safety risks. Joining tapes for heat shrink are particularly relevant as well as using flame retardant containment sheeting or flame resistant scaffold sheeting as specified. The use of cables are not preferred and using strapping with special high tensile properties is desired.
