Four of the standard formulation 8oz. bottles are included with each new PosiTest® AIR instrument kit, and replacement bottles are offered here in boxes of 16 bottles.

The economical standard formulation is designed for temperatures between -10° C (14° F) to 65° C (150° F).  A low-temperature version is optionally available which works down to -20° C (-4° F).

The DeFelsko® PosiTest® AIR Test Solution stands as an integral component of the PosiTest AIR system, engineered to support accurate detection of air and water leaks across a broad spectrum of substrates. Formulated specifically for use with the PosiTest AIR, this solution helps in pinpointing even the most minuscule leaks, thanks to its high viscosity properties.

Formulated to not adversely affect surfaces under examination or the PosiTest AIR equipment, its use is crucial for maintaining the integrity of waterproofing, roofing, and air barrier membranes. It is advised against using this solution on spun polyolefin building wraps due to its specific properties and intended application areas.

Highlighting the necessity of using this proprietary solution, DeFelsko cautions against substituting common household soaps or liquids for it, which do not comply with ASTM E1186 standards, and could potentially overlook crucial leaks.
