GMA Garnet Group has announced the opening of a new distribution hub in Port Klang, Malaysia. As a global leader in industrial garnet abrasives, this strategic expansion underscores their commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring timely product delivery across the Asia Pacific region.

For over four decades, GMA has been at the forefront of garnet abrasives development. From the mine in Port Gregory, Western Australia, to projects worldwide, they have consistently improved their products to meet the evolving needs of customers. The new facility in Malaysia will support customers throughout Asia, enhancing GMA’s distribution footprint in the region.

+30/03/23 - ACQUISITION OF VERTIDRIVE B.V. BY BLASTONE INTERNATIONAL

BlastOne is pleased to announce the acquisition of VertiDrive B.V. located in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

BlastOne, is a leading global provider of blasting and painting equipment and supplies, and has been acting as a sales partner for VertiDrive, for more than five years.

The acquisition of Vertidrive will enable BlastOne to improve support for customers and provide innovative solutions for automating their blasting and painting processes.

+10/02/23 - BLASTONE AND ACA SIGN MOU TO DELIVER THE AMPP CRAFTWORKER SERIES C6, C7, C12 CERTIFICATION TO INDUSTRY

BlastOne and ACA sign MOU to deliver the AMPP Craftworker Series C6, C7, C12 certification to industry

BlastOne is excited to announce a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Australasian Corrosion Association (ACA) to deliver the AMPP Craftworker Series C6, C7, and C12 certification to the industry.

This MOU signifies a commitment to enhance the skills and knowledge of abrasive blasting professionals by providing comprehensive training and certification. The AMPP C-Series certification is designed to meet the requirements of the industry and provide individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely operate and maintain abrasive blasting equipment.

BlastOne and Chicago Pneumatic Portable Equipment Australia enter distribution agreement

Chicago Pneumatic Portable Equipment Australia and BlastOne, have entered into an agreement that will expand Chicago Pneumatic brand presence and product availability across Australia and New Zealand.

Under the agreement, BlastOne will distribute and service Chicago Pneumatic portable compressors, light towers and generator lines through its Asia Pacific network.

Chicago Pneumatic portable compressors are built to deliver power where and when it’s needed. We offer a full range of sizes to power a variety of applications, all designed for jobsite-tough durability and long-lasting performance. These models are easy to maintain, maneuver and operate, including a straightforward control panel that helps you get right to work.

+24/03/20 - UPDATE FROM OUR CEO - COVID-19
To our customers, industry and community

In response to the recent events impacting our community and industry, the team at BlastOne are doing everything we can to continue to support our customers and industry to deliver critically important infrastructure projects.

To do this we have adjusted our working practices to ensure the wellbeing of our staff and anyone they are in contact with. As the situation continues to evolve we are tracking the most up to date government health advice and implementing changes where necessary.

To provide our customers and industry with certainty we will continue on a regular basis to provide updates, again as the situation evolves.

As of today, Tuesday the 24th of March, we can confirm:

  1. All BlastOne depots and offices across our global network remain open for business. We are monitoring each location closely and should one or more of the depots need to close we will advise you as soon as possible, as well as confirm the backup plan. Our aim is to continue to support the  industry while complying with all government directives. Our branches remain well stocked and although we are seeing increased purchase levels for some critical items, we have adjusted our supply plans to maintain our target stock levels.
  2. If one of our branches needs to close for whatever reason, we have back up plans to continue to support our customers from one of our other locations in country. All our customer support, administration and sales teams have the flexibility to work remotely as required.
  3. To assist our staff and customers we have deployed a number of online tools. These include regular webinars (starting week of the 30th), virtual service sustenance and easy video conference access to our technical, sales and administration staff.

 

We will shortly be releasing a one click video access to any of our locations via our website. More information to follow this week.

In summary, we understand that these are unprecedented times for both our industry and our community. We also understand that our customers are supporting vital infrastructure, defence and maintenance projects across our region. We are committed to stand alongside  our industry and customers to deliver and assist throughout this period.
