PosiTector SHD Test Blocks – DeFelsko accessories for checking the operation of the SHD Durometer Probes.  

Available in 3 variations each for Shore A and Shore D measurement ranges.

The Bresle method of testing surfaces for salt contamination is recognized by ISO and ASTM standards.  The DeFelsko SST test probe is an easy and accurate way to conduct these tests.  Test patches are required to perform them and DeFelsko has multiple options, as follows:

• PosiPatch™.  This innovative product utilizes a reusable patch, held by a magnetic ring against the surface.  Available in 2 configurations:
  • Rigid ring.  Preferred for flat surfaces or round surfaces with greater than 40 inch diameter.  
  • Flexible ring.  Preferred for round surfaces between 4 and 40 inch OD, or a minimum of 4.5 inches ID.
  • Saves time and money vs. disposable patches.
  • Utilizes a plastic needle – no sharp hypodermic needles required!
• Latex Disposable.  The conventional Latex Adhesive Bresle Method Patch has a sample test volume range of up to 15 ml (the only DeFelsko version with this range) for applications where the spec requires this.  
• Latex-Free Disposable.  Similar to latex disposables but lower in cost, the DeFelsko Adhesive Bresle Method Patch is suitable when the 15 ml sample size of the latex version is not required.

Note:  Both disposable options from DeFelsko feature low-tack adhesive with TearGuard™ technology for easy patch removal.  No residue to clean from the surface when using any DeFelsko SST test patch option!

Test disks are used in the Positector BHI Barcol Hardness Impressor to verify the operation.  

Two aluminum alloy disks are included (1 Hard and 1 Soft) with each new DeFelsko BHI probe kit.  The replacement disks shown here come in packs of 5 with a plate included, and are available in the following hardnesses:

The PosiTector® CMM IS – DeFelsko’s solution for In Situ Concrete Moisture Metering conforming to ASTM F2170 testing standards. Among other requirements, ASTM F2170 requires 3 tests for the first 1000 square feet of floor area, and one additional test for each 1000 square feet.  For larger floors, CMM IS Expansion Kits are available in various sizes.

Thickness Standards are used to verify the accuracy and operation of coating thickness gauges.  As a component of ISO 9000 or in-house quality control procedures, they are a practical alternative to sending instruments to DeFelsko for calibration.

These Plastic Shims (aka foils) are low-cost alternative to coated metal plates.  They are available in Certified (individual shims or full sets) and in Un-Certified sets.  Accuracy is somewhat less than metal plates and they are more sensitive to heat. They are intended for use over a Zero Plate, or over an uncoated substrate.

Graco’s industrial XP plural unit has been customised for EonCoat applications. It is similar to the XP35 with the 1:1 mix ratio and 3500 PSI delivery, and has the following changes: 

1. The lower air is the 290cc SST DuraFlo.
2. The Air Motor is the XL6500.
3. The recirculation manifold is Stainless. 
4. The gun is the PerformAA Automatic Air-Assisted version.
